Introducing two new Bible printable sets + a free sample coloring page

My business has changed a lot over the last 10 years! I started off making cute animal prints for nursery decor on Etsy. In 2015, I started writing this blog and created my first Bible verse printable. I was looking for Bible coloring pages to do with my kids, and I couldn’t find what I was looking for. That led to creating my printable Bible verse cards and coloring pages.

In 2018, I started exploring watercolor, and that led to the creation of the hymn art prints, which have done so well. Managing the different arms of my business sometimes feels like a wrestling match, but I am always trying to hear God’s leading and create things that He has given me a passion and ability to do.

So here we are in 2023, and I am so excited to finish up these two new printable sets to add to my shop’s printable library! I have always loved communicating the truth of God’s word in creative ways, so it was a joy to make these. I especially loved researching the pictures of God in Scripture. The project has deepened my own faith and love for God.

The Psalm 139 Set: “Knit Together”

This set is listed two ways: color cards and coloring pages or just black and white coloring cards + pages.

The “Picturing God” Playing Card Set

This set comes in a set of full color cards OR full and quarter page coloring pages. Each card features:

  • a Biblical picture of God
  • an illustrating image
  • a symbol
  • a main verse
  • plus most have additional verses to look up

I’ve also included a guide with ideas of ways to use the cards with your learners, and some blank cards for creating your own designs.

My hope is that this art helps you and your learners “to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge” (Ephesians 3:18).

Welcome to the blog!

I’m Mary and I’m glad you’re here! Since 2014, I’ve been sharing encouraging words, fun Bible printables, and accessible art activities.

let’s talk about . . .

In today’s Friday Chat, I’m joined by my frien In today’s Friday Chat, I’m joined by my friend Katie to talk about my Bible study pet peeves and best practices for leading Bible studies. We have both led and been part of small group Bible studies for many years, and we talk about how our ideas about the purpose of Bible study have changed over the years.

We discuss the importance of letting the Bible be complex, keeping Jesus at the center, dealing with the fear of the discussions going off the rails, and Katie’s hot take on the importance of actually praying in our small groups. You’ll also get to hear Katie’s answer to the question, “Is Jesus a Republican or a Democrat?”

It’s a wide-ranging discussion that I found really helpful and challenging. You might agree or disagree with us, but that’s okay, because that’s the point we’re making. Hope you enjoy the discussion!
