

Do you ever wonder if God will grow weary or your weaknesses or your failing? Will you somehow reach the end of his patience and be left to flounder on your own?
I have been thinking about these verses:
“Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. I say to myself, “The LORD is my portion; therefore I will wait for him.” The LORD is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him; it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD.” (Lamentations 3:22-26 NIV)
I made this screensaver to remind you that God’s compassion won’t run out. As surely as the sun rises new each morning, God has new mercies for you.
I also think about my relationships, and the places where my compassion runs thin. I can get prickly and irritable when people frustrate me or I don’t understand them. How can I soak up the compassion and great love of the Lord and let other experience it through me today?
